REVIEW: TTFone TT990 (2026 Flip Phone)
The TTFone TT990 is a unique hybrid device that sits between a traditional flip phone and a modern smartphone. Designed for people who want to stay connected without becoming glued to a screen, it combines a sturdy flip phone design with a touchscreen, Android 14, and access to popular apps such as WhatsApp, Viber and Telegram. During testing, the phone proved reliable for calls and messaging, offered impressive battery life, and felt responsive in everyday use. The included charging cradle is a welcome addition, while the generous internal storage and MicroSD support provide plenty of room for apps and files.
The TT990 is not without compromises. The lack of T9 predictive text is a major disappointment for anyone familiar with classic keypad phones, and some app compatibility issues are unavoidable due to its de-Googled software. It also works best when treated as a communication device rather than a full smartphone replacement. Despite those shortcomings, the TT990 succeeds in its goal of offering a more balanced approach to technology. It provides access to essential modern services while encouraging users to spend less time scrolling and more time focusing on what matters. With room for improvement but plenty done right.

REVIEW: GUNNAR Optiks Gaming/Office Glasses - Style MAMMOTH - Frame Onyx - Lens Amber
The GUNNAR Optiks Mammoth glasses are easily one of the most comfortable pairs I have used for long gaming sessions. The extra wide fit is perfect for larger heads, while the thick Onyx frame gives them a bold and masculine look that feels stylish without trying too hard. Despite the chunky appearance, they remain lightweight and comfortable even after hours of use.
What impressed me most was how effective the amber lenses were during lengthy sessions on a large screen television. Games that would normally leave me with tired eyes caused no strain at all while wearing these glasses. Combined with the excellent build quality and affordable pricing, the Mammoth glasses are another excellent release from GUNNAR Optiks.
