REVIEW: Gecko Gods (2026 Video Game) - on Nintendo Switch

Gecko Gods is a charming puzzle adventure that focuses on exploration, climbing and gentle puzzle solving across a forgotten archipelago. Controlling the gecko is enjoyable, with the freedom to scale almost any surface making movement the highlight of the experience. The world is visually appealing, and the act of discovering relics, insects and hidden areas gives the game a steady sense of purpose throughout its short runtime.

The puzzle design is well judged, offering challenges that are engaging without becoming frustrating, and the overall structure keeps things accessible and relaxed. However, the climbing system can become confusing depending on camera angle and surface orientation, and the similar-looking environments can make navigation tricky. With a short completion time of around four to six hours for the story and limited replayability, it feels slightly expensive at full price, but still delivers an enjoyable and polished little adventure.

REVIEW: Froggy Hates Snow (2026 Video Game) - on PC Steam

Froggy Hates Snow is a simple but incredibly addictive little game. The loop of starting a level, shovelling through snow, looking for gold and gems, then returning to the safe hub to upgrade and repeat works very well. The graphics are perfectly decent for this type of game, and it also stands out for letting you play with or without enemies. The anomaly zones add an extra challenge, and overall it feels like a charming game with fun mechanics and a distinct personality.

The main negative is that the levels can feel a bit samey after a while. Even so, the core loop remains strong, and Froggy Hates Snow still delivers an enjoyable survival roguelike experience built around digging, collecting, and upgrading.
